Used Treif Butchery Slicers for Sale 18

Treif Maschinenbau is a German manufacturer of industrial meat slicing and portioning equipment founded in 1948 in Oberlahr. The brand is one of the leading specialists in high-volume portion cutting and slicing for industrial meat processing.

On the used market, Treif butchery slicers appear when industrial meat processors restructure production lines or upgrade to newer technology. Exapro listings cover Falcon high-speed slicers for sliced product production, Divider portion cutters for fresh meat portioning with yield optimization, and Puma/Lion industrial slicers for various meat processing applications. These are production-class machines typically integrated into larger meat processing lines. Compare current Treif listings to find machines matching your throughput and portioning needs.

Key inspection points before buying include blade and knife system condition, vision/scanning system on yield-optimizing models, drive system state, infeed and outfeed conveying integration, and overall hygienic surface condition. For regulated meat processing, hygienic surface integrity directly affects compliance with food safety inspections.

Buying a used Treif butchery slicer: what to check

Before purchasing any used industrial slicer, thorough inspection is essential. For Treif equipment specifically, vision and scanning system condition (on yield-optimizing Divider portion cutters) is a primary value driver. Test the scanning system, image processing, and any automated cutting algorithms through representative product samples.

Blade condition, drive system smoothness, and hygienic surface state all matter. Inspect wetted surfaces for any scratches, pitting, or staining that would affect food safety compliance. Test the machine through several product runs if possible. Verify control system functionality and recipe library completeness.

Transport for Treif slicers requires flatbed handling and careful rigging. These are production-class machines requiring proper de-installation and re-installation expertise. Plan integration with upstream product feeding and downstream packaging. On Exapro, each Treif listing provides specifications, photos, and seller contact. Compare multiple Treif listings to find the right combination of throughput, blade configuration, vision/scanning options, yield optimization capability, hygienic surface condition, and overall value for your industrial meat processing operation needs and product mix.
