Used Perfecta Guillotines for Sale 12

Perfecta's position in the cutting market tracks its geography: the Bautzen works equipped the entire Eastern Bloc's printing industry, and that history left an installed base across Central and Eastern Europe that keeps used supply deep, parts knowledge widespread, and prices distinctly below the Polar and Wohlenberg tier for machines that cut the same paper to the same line. For a finishing department buying capability on a budget, that arithmetic is the brand's whole argument, and it is a good one.

The fleet spans generations meaningfully: Seypa-era machines (the 92 and 115 formats commonest) remain rebuildable workhorses with mechanical simplicity on their side, while modern UC-series cutters carry colour-screen program controls, air tables, and safety systems matching Western contemporaries. Width selection follows press format as always, with 76 cm for digital and B3, 92 for B2, 115 for B1, and larger formats for packaging work. Complete cutting systems with jogger, lift, and unloader multiply labour productivity and deserve acquisition as sets. Against equivalent-width used Polar machines, Perfecta typically saves a third or more, conceding resale liquidity rather than cutting capability.

Buying a used Perfecta guillotines: what to check

Safety systems decide first: light barriers, two-hand control, and knife brake function must work and satisfy your local regulations, with the brake stop-time test performed, since guarding retrofits are mandatory money. Then cut a full-height pile and measure accuracy top to bottom, checking the backgauge repeats position across the table.

Inspect the clamp for even pressure and hydraulic leaks, examine knife carrier guides for play, and verify the false clamp plate and cutting sticks situation. On programmable machines, test program storage and backgauge drive through repeated positioning, confirming display condition. Check air table function across the bed, count included knives, and ask for service provenance, with Perfecta-trained technicians common throughout the region.
