The MBO T 800 folding machine, manufactured in 2004, is designed for versatile paper folding tasks with a maximum paper format of 78 x 120 cm and a minimum format of 25 x 15 cm. This model features a flatpile type feeder and is configured with two folding units: the first unit has 6 pockets with automatic adjustment, while the second unit has 4 pockets with manual adjustment, allowing for a total of 10 folding bags. The machine is equipped with a Piab air system, slitting shafts in all units, and includes manuals for operation.
The machine frame is constructed from metal and painted blue, featuring a wooden platform supported by metal legs and a lower metal shelf for additional support or storage. The frame shows some signs of use, including scuffs and dirt marks, with a yellow cross mark visible on the right vertical leg. Pneumatic or hydraulic components are attached to the machine, including various hoses and cables connected to the machine’s side, and a valve or actuator labeled "PILZ" is also present.
Control is managed via an MBO branded control panel that includes multiple buttons, switches, and a small screen displaying operational data. The panel shows some wear and smudges but remains intact and functional. Notably, the control system features MBO Rapidset and Mc-Control technology, with an emergency stop button located on the lower left of the panel for safety.
Overall, the MBO T 800 is a well-equipped industrial folder suitable for various folding applications, combining mechanical and electronic components in a compact design. The equipment appears clean and well-maintained, though it does show typical signs of use consistent with its operational history.
