One pre owned capsule filler manufactured in 1997. This unit is a model IMA-MATIC 90 Automatic Capsule Filler. All sanitary stainless steel contact parts. Machine is rated up to 90,000 capsules per hour. Includes change parts of size, 000, 00, and 2. Also controls, aspiration unit, vacuum pump and capsule feeding unit. PC programmable controls with weight inspection. NO OPERATOR REQUIRED. Capable of filling powders, pellets, and granules. Currently set for powder. Unit was cleaned with a 50% IPA solution. This machine was the first to be fully automated, thus doing away with the need for an operator in attendance. Automatic capsule selection and feeding, automatic feeding of the product to be dosed, process control and automatic feedback of all operating parameters, finished product check and handling are all operations that are completely governed and run by the machine itself. If required by the customer, IMA can also link up the machine's PC to a host computer to allow data transmission and modification of machine working parameters.
