The marketplace www.exapro.com has launched a fourth version of its webportal for the sale of used machines and industrial equipments. This new ergonomic web interface is greatly improving the database search for its visitors but also speeds up the whole process for the international sales agents taking care of the 70 000 offers of machines and allow the company to face a double digit growth each year since it was launched (+46% in 2010 vs 2009).
With a growing demand on used machines and the international expansion operated in the last few years, not only Exapro needed to adapt to its customers‘ needs but also had to improve its intranet for a faster processing of the numerous daily requests. This new version was released in February 2011 and was debugged during a full month with the help of selected customers.
The new server now allows a quick review of the machines offered, a powerful search engines and more photos, videos or technical details on each offer. Exapro went to the bottom of things by refreshing its logo and designing a new graphical skin for a better ergonomic. With 6 languages including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Czech, the webportal is fully international and will soon be translated in polish, covering most of the European market.
Www.exapro.com also allows multiple currencies as well as both imperial and metric measures with the overall target of building trade bridges across continents in the used equipment trade. The positioning in search engines‘ results and the general reaction from advertisers are already showing the real need in the Industry for a worldwide solution to buy or sell second-hand equipments. The current expansion to the U.S.A. should prove that Exapro is now a major global player in the market of used machines.
