The heart of the installation is the pyrolysis reactor, which contains a basket with a capacity of 10 m3. When loading the PP / PE mix of plastic in the amount of about 2 tons and the efficiency of about 50%, we should expect 1 m3 of oil from each batch. The overall efficiency of the installation will depend, inter alia, on the number of shifts and the mode of operation, i.e. whether the second reactor will be running. When both reactors are used alternately, we obtain a quasi-continuous cycle while maintaining the advantages of the batch process, i.e. ease of loading and cleaning the reactor.
