The Sibille PICOUP-250 is a professional heavy-duty hydraulic cable cutter designed for the most demanding professionals. It is a double-action tool that pricks the cable to check and ensure that there is no tension on low and medium voltage underground cables before cutting them. The sturdy structure and the extremely powerful cutting mechanism with integrated remote control ensure easy and safe operation even in the event that a live electric wire is pricked. PICOUP 250 cutting blades / jaws are made of reinforced and heat treated steel specially designed to cut cables up to 100mm in diameter. A narrow cutting head has been designed to allow easy positioning between cables and is fitted with a steel protective cover for added safety during use. This tool allows the user to limit any short circuit caused on a single-phase or ground fault when branching multi-conductor cables. This causes the protection devices to trip before a two-phase or three-phase fault occurs.
