Marangoni ITT 3000 shearography machine

Automatic nondestructive bead to bead shearography machine to detect tread and sidewall separation on truck tyres, without flipping the tyre.

The principle of measurement is based by comparison between a first interference image of the tyre surface and a second interference image of the deformed state at decreased pressure. The difference of these two conditions is processed and then displayed on the video screen.

Closer analysis of faulty sections can be achieved by viewing blow-ups of specific areas and by using the machine print out facility.

The machine’s image resolution goes from 2 to 5 mm square, allowing the screening of micro-separations.

The minimum total inspection time “floor to floor” is:

- “Shoulder to shoulder” analysis in 8 sectors - 180 sec.

- “Bead to bead” analysis in 8 sectors – 360 sec.

The “ITT 3000 SFERA” has an automatic tyre loading and unloading system equipped with: double arm to have in the same time loading and unloading and 2 meters of rolling loader with a tilting side for tyre loading and unloading from/to the floor.

The rolling conveyor can be tailored according to the customer’s needs.
