The TRICAP machine is installed directly at the outlet of the filling machine to perform unit selection and elimination of defective capsules.
To meet GMP sorting requirements, defects are automatically eliminated within 2 specific rejection bins.

• Capsule with assembly defect:

o External telescopic
o Band-aid, tongue.
• Capsule crushed, oval.
• Capsule with powder or micro granules sandwiched between the lid and body parts.
• Capsule with hole.
• Capsule with defects of roughness, bubbles...

AUTOMATIC SELECTION of empty capsules and separate lid and body parts:
• Empty capsule.
• Very weakly dosed capsule (effective if < 15% of the gross weight).
• Body only filled with product.
• Separate lid and body parts.
