The second generation of a long tradition of quality 3D digitizers, the 3D Mega Capturor II can be found in all over the world. Based on digital camera technology, InSpeck’s 3D Mega Capturor II digitizer boasts a very fast FireWire data transfer that enables users to connect the digitizer directly into their laptops and the largest field of view in the industry.
With its stylish design and high quality components, the 3D Mega Capturor II is intended for intermediate to advanced users. This 3D camera can be applied to many more applications such as 3D crystal engraving, computer animation, videogame development, movie special effects, medical imaging and research. Each of these expanding markets can benefit from the high quality 3D data provided by InSpeck’s technology.
As with all of InSpeck’s 3D digitizers, the 3D Mega Capturor II is based on white-halogen light technology, which makes it perfectly safe for humans. In a fraction of a second, it can quickly capture a human’s 3D geometry (shape) and texture (color) – much faster than laser-based digitizers! Whatever the skin color or facial feature, our technology can capture it and turn it into usable high quality data. For example, the 3D Mega Capturor II can scan hair, which has traditionally been a problem for others. Because of its fine texture, complex structure and many variants, hair is probably the most difficult thing to digitize.
